Bigg Boss Season 1 Tamil Contestant Snehan

'Snehan' (Tamil:,born coimbatore) is a Tamil poet, lyricist, actor, and motivational speaker. He is one of the 14 contestants in Bigg Boss Tamil 1.

Snehan was born in a small village Pudhukariyapatti, near Sengipatti in Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, India as the youngest of eight sons into an agricultural family. He is one of the 14 contestants in Bigg Boss Tamil 1.

Moving to Chennai, Snehan first worked as a protégé to noted poet and lyricist Vairamuthu for five years. Later, he worked as the Editor of Ilanthendral, a monthly magazine for three years.

At a book releasing function then, he was asked by K. Balachander to write songs in films and he got the chance from music director S. A. Rajkumar to write lyrics for the film Putham Puthu Poove. From since, he was written more than 2500 songs for more than 500 films, working with various directors and music composers in the Tamil film industry.

He then turned actor for the film Yogi, for which he has also written all the lyrics, as his friend and writer and lead actor of the film, Ameer Sultan, gave him the opportunity. For the same film, Snehan became a playback singer as well, lending his vocals to a song, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with whom Snehan has often associated.

He then turned as a Hero in the film Uyarthiru 420. And now he is acting in 3 films which are under production.

Now Snehan turned as a Producer and Producing a Tamil feature film Rajaraja.
Snehan is one of the participants in the first season of a Tamil television reality show called Bigg Boss where he makes plans against his mates working like a politician.

Snehan Early Life and Career :
Snehan was born on 23 June 1978 in Sengipatti in Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, India as the youngest of eight sons into an agricultural family. He was raised in Thanjavur and was passionate about Tamil language since childhood. He has received several prizes by participating in competitions at school level. Snehan has also received a prestigious award from then Chief Minister MG Ramachandran at a state level school competition.

He relocated to Chennai looking out for job, and started working with lyricist and poet Vairamuthu as a protégé. He worked as an editor in Tamil monthly magazine Ilanthendral for three years before getting a break in Tamil film industry. He was introduced in Tamil film industry by K Balachander who recommended him to music director SA Rajkumar to write lyrics for the film Putham Puthu Poove.

Snehan has written 2500+ songs in more than 500 films, working with various music directors, including AR Rahman, Ilayaraja, Harris Jayaraj, and Yuvan Shankar Raja among others. He made his film debut as actor in Yogi, directed by Ameer Sultan, a friend of Snehan. He wrote lyrics for all songs in the film and even crooned a song as well. After that, he has acted in a couple of films.

Snehan was heavily criticized by all sections of people for organizing Dynamic marriage urchaagam in Southern part of Tamil Nadu. And, in fact he is the founder of Dynamic marriage urchaagam. He is one of the participants of Bigg Boss Tamil reality game show, hosted by filmmaker and actor Kamal Haasan. We don’t about his family and his relationship status.
